The three-acre site for Remington Medical Commons is located adjacent to the new Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital campus, the state’s first new non-replacement hospital in 25 years. With an estimated occupancy date of April 2008, anchor tenants for the custom-designed class-A medical office space will include Bolingbrook Family Medicine and Nephrology Associates of Northern Illinois.
“Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital will help transform the area into a regional destination for health care. We have been extremely pleased with the pre-leasing success of Remington Medical Commons so far, which has been attracting high-quality tenants,” said Rick Nelson, vice president of Irgens Health Care Facilities Group.
Its close proximity to the new hospital makes the medical office building a prime location for primary care physicians and medical specialists in the region. With direct access to Route 53 and visibility from I-55, Remington Medical Commons is easily accessible and centrally located in a rapidly growing market. The state-of-the-art medical center offers the convenience of surface parking for all customers and staff and has no use restrictions on the procedures and services that physicians may provide in the building.
“I am thrilled to be a tenant in the newest, most innovative medical complex in the region, allowing patients access to all of their healthcare needs in one location from the finest mix of service providers,” said Gerald Lofthouse, M.D.
“As part of one of the fastest growing counties in the U.S., Bolingbrook offers an established business community with access to excellent regional transportation. The addition of Remington Medical Commons will provide the prime healthcare services our community needs, attracting continued growth to the region,” said Mayor Roger C. Claar.
In addition to Irgens, other project team partners include the building designer, Harris Architects, Inc.; the project’s financial partner, M&I Bank; and general contractor, Krusinski Construction Company.
