In the mid-1990's, Midwest Orthopaedic Consultants was a six-physician practice in one isolated Chicago market with plans to expand. Dave Arnold and his team helped the group prepare a recruitment plan and develop a business strategy to accomplish their plan. Together they developed a second location comprising a comprehensive orthopaedic center in the quickly expanding Chicago suburb of Orland Park, Illinois. The initial project consisted of site selection that would meet the program needs of the physicians taking into consideration the ultimate expansion of the facility. The resulting two-story, 34,000 square foot building is a full-service orthopaedic center, housing exam rooms, radiology, MRI, physical therapy, and a two-OR ambulatory surgery center. Several special features of the project are:
- Site master planned for future growth.
- Two-story reception area with large windows.
- Natural light in physical therapy area.
- Convenient placement of cast, x-ray, and MRI areas.
- Accredited surgery center.
