Expanding programs drove the need for a larger facility. A project goal was to attain a LEED (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) Rating while being sensitive to budget and fund raising initiatives. In fact, the project was awarded a LEED Gold Rating.
Irgens was hired as the owner's representative: assisting with contract negotiations, cost controls, scheduling, value engineering, ongoing construction review, and monitoring the LEED process.
Upon completion, the project was awarded a LEED Version 2 Gold Certification Level. |
