This dormant school building was analyzed for its highest and best use. Demolition, conversion to multi-family housing, and renovation options were studied. In the final analysis, the building was renovated into a 21st century school at a cost substantially below new construction. Irgens managed the feasibility study, referendum process, and design and renovation work. The design and renovation were completed in nine months and allowed the district to occupy the building for the fall semester. |
