Milwaukee County Research Park Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Irgens Development Partners has worked closely with Milwaukee County, the City of Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee County Research Park Corporation since 1995 to complete seven of the nine projects in the 175-acre Milwaukee County Research Park, effectively shaping it into a campus-like environment that is home to over 80 successful companies, most of which are technology-based.
The first major project in the Park for Irgens and a main impetus for the overall development was a 137,000 SF build-to-suit facility for United Healthcare (formerly PrimeCare). After its successful completion, the project led to the development of Wood Lake Business and Technology Center, a series of three buildings totaling 154,900 SF of office/research/flex space. From there, Irgens went on to develop Oakwood Center, a 67,500 SF building that is fully occupied by Children’s Health System for support services; 10000 Innovation Drive, a 140,000 SF, multi-tenant office building; and GE Healthcare Research Park, a 506,000 SF headquarters building for three divisions of GE Healthcare. In 2007, Irgens will break ground on Mayfair Woods, a 132,000 SF Class A office/research development which will be home to several technology-based companies and embark on a 60,000 SF building addition project for 100000 Innovation Drive.
