Brian Spoerl is vice president at Irgens Development Partners, LLC. He draws on his significant healthcare industry experience to cultivate new client relationships with hospitals, health systems and physician practice groups by offering them value-added real estate solutions.
Brian has leased space to more than 100 physician groups, sold millions of dollars worth of real estate and worked on numerous healthcare developments. He offers a unique understanding of the medical office market from the eyes of the hospital and the needs of physicians. He draws on this experience when working with clients on key initiatives involving:
- Service line and market share expansion initiatives that require minimal capital outlays
- Physician investment and alignment opportunities through real estate equity participation
- Physician leasing and recruitment programs in secondary and tertiary markets
- Capital alternatives to improve/maintain key financial ratios and credit profile
Brian began his real estate career at Irgens and spent six years with the firm focusing mainly on medical office leasing and pre-development efforts. In 2002, Brian left Irgens to form his own brokerage firm and later sold the company to join Marcus & Millichap Investment Services where he was responsible for commercial and medical office investment sales. From there, and prior to returning to Irgens, Brian was an assistant vice president and leasing manager at HSA|PrimeCare in Milwaukee and Chicago where he worked directly with hospital and health system management on leasing, acquisitions and health facility development.
